WOW! So very happy to have run into this tribe. I **knew** that there were others out there but none so addicted as myself. thank gawd I'm not alone!
I take care of small children a good portion of the time and they constantly tell me that my socks don't match (with great shock and exasperation!) I just smile and nod. Now the mother's will say 'So do you want Belva Socks today?'
People who know me well say that if my socks 'match' then something is wrong! Fortunately they never match,
I once read in a bathroom stall that "Matching socks are a sign of culteral compulsion"
I just discovered tye-dyed toe socks at Target. I now 'had' to own a pair of purple and yellow tye-dye socks.

also, to escape the mundane practice of businuss casual... i have purposefully mismatched to the extreme! not today tho.
